SUBJECT AREA: GEOGRAPHY & SOCIAL STUDIES GRADE LEVEL: SECONDARY FOUR EXPRESS
Name of Teacher: TIAN SWEE GEOK
LESSON TITLE: see below TIME ALLOTTED: 2 PERIODS FOR GEOGRAPHY, 4 PERIODS
Hand in Hand: FOR SOCIAL STUDIES
LESSON DESCRIPTION: (Write a concise description of what occurs in this lesson.)
Answers Come Alive through TinyUrl in Google Apps
As students like using ICT in learning, Google Apps is used as a tutorial tool to help students doing Social Studies and
Geography.
Google Apps provides students with a dynamic alternative to express meaningful answers through ICT. Compared to
the conventional classroom setting, it was great giving students a break to type their answers instead of writing their
answers. Students remained more alert and zealous in such a setting. This was particularly so for students attending
structured remedial classes.
